Absorbance spectroscopy can be used to detect, characterize and quantify molecular and atomic species in a sample, based on their unique absorbance fingerprint. It will also give information about properties of nanoparticles based on their size and material properties.
What we offer
ProbeDrum features a UV-vis absorbance spectroscopy setup that records an entire spectrum from 230 nm to 730 nm simultaneously. This allows for rapid capture of detailed information that provides more insights than one would get from a single wavelength. The proprietary Autolight feature automatically determines the optimal light level for each sample, making full use of the dynamic range of the detector.
